Organised by the Singapore Olympic Foundation (SOF). The SYOF is a legacy of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) held in Singapore in 2010 and subsequently in Nanjing, China.

  

In 2011, the SYOF was first started to celebrate the first anniversary of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. The SYOF hopes to inspire more Singaporeans to take up sports and bring youths together to foster stronger friendship through sports.

  

Opened to youth aged 18 and below, the SYOF aims to promote Olympic values of Friendship, Excellence and Respect.
