Videography

I developed an interest in videography after I got my first digicam in 1996. It was a Sony Mavica which writes the data on a Floppy disk. I later acquired a Sharp Viewcam which “taped” the video onto a 8mm cassette tape. This was much “clearer” but it is still not “DVD” quality until the debut of the Sanyo Xacti VPC in 2002. And this was when I started editing videos (using the Sanyo software) instead of building an inventory of diskettes and tapes.

However, videography was confined to the realm of my family even with an upgrade to a Full HD Sanyo Xacti in 2007. Then video editing took a pause as my computer cannot handle the increased data requirement and I got bored with just joining clips and overlaying the music on the final video.

Then in late 2010 I was invited to join the group VBpeople. The “CEO” of the group took some video clips of our games using the first generation iphone and posted on our Facebook group. I extracted them and the first VB video was created. I started investing in more equipment since then and have created over 200 videos posted in Youtube.
